"Yoldyzlyk" ("Constellation of Talents") - the most outstanding festival of Tatarstan

"Yoldyzlyk" ("Constellation") - one of the brightestannual events among the talented youth of the Republic of Tatarstan. For seventeen years this festival has helped artists of the republic to get acquainted not only with the recognized talents of cities, but also to see diamonds not yet cut.

How did the festival come about?

"Constellation-Yoldyzlyk" has long beenan integral part of life in Tatarstan. The festival takes its origin back in 1992, when it was called "The Young Star". Over the next eight years, he gained great popularity among talented youth. During this time, the organizers conducted a large-scale analytical work, determining as a result the main directions for working with gifted children.

In 2000, the modern name appears"Yoldyzlyk". "Constellation of talents" begins its solemn procession in the republic under the patronage of Mintimer Sharipovich Shaimiev, who at that time (until 2010) was the president of Tatarstan.

Festival, the main purpose of which was notto allow a large-scale outflow of talented young people to the Russian capital, over the next few years received the status of a republican and a high appraisal in the framework of not only the republic of Tatarstan, but the whole country. For example, in 2006 the festival "Yoldyzlyk" ("Sozvezdie") became one of the forty best projects of Russia, and in 2010 - the laureate of the Government of the Russian Federation Prize in the field of development of culture and education.

What is a festival for the Republic of Tatarstan?

For Tatarstan, this is not only a way to keeptalented youth and stimulate its development, but also to increase the prestige of the teacher's profession. The winners of the festival are worthy successors of the republic's heritage. Honorary diplomas and valuable prizes are awarded not only to talented children, but also teachers, whose contribution to the development of current children is often underestimated.

Every year in the qualifying round of the festivalparticipation of more than 50 thousand talented children aged 5 to 21 years from the whole republic. It is noteworthy that the children participate not only from large cities, but also from remote settlements, in the Yoldyzlyk ("Constellation of Talents") festival. And recently talents from other regions of Russia, including the capital of our homeland - Moscow, have also performed.

To date, the festival is held on sevennominations: from vocal and choreography to entertaining and poetry in different age groups. The most talented contestants not only receive prizes, they are invited to perform in the large-scale concert program "Constellation-Yoldyzlyk". Kazan as the main city of the Republic kindly provides its best concert halls for this event. In the first year of the festival, the number of applications barely exceeded 3,000, and this year this figure rose to seventy thousand. By the way, the number of participants for the last year has grown by as much as 20%.

The festival started as a regional event, and turned into an event of an all-Russian scale, as it has been held for several years with the support of UNESCO.
