Since the school was originally municipal, the city administration in 1980 allocated the second floor of a brick building. The conditions of the room again did not have access to the lessons, but, as is known, artists can work in any circumstances. Even in spite of the fact that there was not enough space and sculpture classes were held in the basement of the building, the graduates had the brightest memories of their first creative workshops.

In 1982, the director of the school, K. G. Trepakov independently designs a new building and approves it from the administration. Now the Krasnogorsk Art School is certified as a high school. More than a third of all its graduates associate their lives with art, and the collective of the educational institution mostly consists of former students. Every year the school develops, its students participate in exhibitions, competitions and often take prizes.

What kind of education system

Krasnogorsk Art School hasseveral stages of education. It includes a preparatory level and further training, which is designed for 4 years. After graduation, an official certificate is issued, which confirms that the training was successful. The recruitment of children for the initial stage begins with 8 years. Preparatory courses in the art school of Krasnogorsk are held twice a week.

Teaching children at the initial stage is paid, but from the first grade the state pays for the education of children.
